 Online applications are invited from unmarried male candidates (who fulfil eligibility conditions as laid down by the Government of India) for enrolment as sailors for AA and SSR for 500 and 2000 vacancies (Approximately) respectively in the Aug 2021 batch.     There are slight difference in eligibility for the post of Senior Secondary Recruit (SSR) and Artificer Apprentice (AA) post. Read the below details carefully.

    • 60% Marks should be in aggregate with Maths and Physics.
    • Chemistry or Biology or Computer Science should be as subject in your 12th.

    There is only one formula to get success in this exam to go through Navy SSR and AA exam pattern.

    • The Question Paper will be bilingual (Hindi and English) and objective type.
    • The Question Paper will comprise of four sections and that is English, Science, Mathematics and General Knowledge.
    • Duration of examination will be one hour.
    • All candidates appearing for written examination would be subjected to PFT on the same day.

    Selection Process

    Selection process will complete in 3 stages.
    1. Merit List 
    2. Written Examination
    3. (Physical Fitness Test) PFT
    • A Merit List will be prepared by the authority based on 12th marks.
    • Candidate will be shortlisted for Written Examination basis on Merit List.
    • After Written Examination, Every candidate will have go through PFT before final selection.
